Infection Prevention Club Member Mobilization day

Event Purpose

Healthcare-associated infections and emerging infectious diseases remain significant public health challenges in Sulemania and the Kurdistan Region. Universities play a critical role in building awareness, skills, and leadership in infection prevention and control (IPC). The KUST Infection Prevention Club, in collaboration with the Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA), serves as a platform for education, advocacy, baseline assessments, and practice-change initiatives related to infection prevention. The Member Mobilization Day is designed to introduce the club, explain its purpose and plans, and actively engage students and staff to join and contribute to upcoming activities.
